Copyright symbol (©): copy and paste
The copyright sign (©) marks a work as protected by copyright. A standard notice is the symbol, the year of first publication and the owner’s name: © 2026 Martin Rariga.
Use © for most works, ℗ (sound recording copyright) for recorded audio, and ™ or ® for trademarks, which are a different kind of right. Writing (c) is a common fallback but is not the real symbol.
