Right arrow (→): copy and paste
The rightwards arrow (→) is the most-used arrow character: “leads to”, “next”, “becomes”, A → B. It is plain text, so it works in file names, slide titles, spreadsheets and code comments.
→ matches text weight; ⇒ means “implies” in logic and math; ↦ “maps to” in functions; ➡ renders as an emoji; ➜ ➔ ➤ are heavier decorative arrows that work well as bullets.
